The Societe des Alcools du Quebec (SAQ) selects AlphaMosaik for the implementation of their corporate collaborative portal and opts for the SharePoint MOSS 2007 solution from Microsoft.
Montreal, July 25, 2007 - AlphaMosaïk, leader in the field of IT services in the province of Quebec, is proud to announce the signing of a new contract with the SAQ (Societe des alcools du Quebec). The SAQ selected AlphaMosaïk to implement the SharePoint MOSS 2007 solution for its corporate collaborative portal, which will be used by all the employees of the company.
Philippe Boucher, Director of IT Operations and Infrastructure, comments: “Our decision to select AlphaMosaik as our integration partner, and to opt for the SharePoint 2007 solution from Microsoft, was based on the strategic issues regarding this project.
Furthermore, our selection was based on the proven expertise of AlphaMosaik regarding the Microsoft platforms as well as the functional complementarities provided by the Microsoft tools and their seamless interfacing to other Office applications, which our users are already familiar with.”
AlphaMosaik’s mandate will consist of: evaluating the requirements of the SAQ, establishing the SharePoint 2007 deployment and usage strategy as well as issuing the required implementation recommendations regarding the SharePoint 2007 solution.
The deployment of this solution will first take place within the framework of a business process optimization project for the SAQ’s Marketing division. It will then be rolled out within the general SharePoint implementation framework for the company’s Informational Resources Division.
Alain Cloutier, President of AlphaMosaïk, continues: «SharePoint is a state-of-the-art, highly secure solution able to meet the business requirements of our clients. Its features and functionalities include: Portal solutions (Intranet, Extranet and Web site), sharing, searches, content management, business processes, electronic forms as well as decision support tools (dashboards). The excitement generated on the market by this solution is simply phenomenal. It’s therefore no surprise that a number of our clients such as Bell Aliant, Videotron, Export Development Canada, SNC Lavalin, Transat, Télébec have all opted for the SharePoint 2007 platform.”
Edgard Vandemeulebroucke, Chief technology officer at AlphaMosaik, continues: “The main differentiator of our proposal lies within the expertise we bring to our business practices. AlphaMosaïk not only offers integration services, but also services specialized in strategic orientation, development, document management, graphic design and user experience, forms, business intelligence and processes, as well as corporate training. Our SharePoint solution consequently encompasses a unique wealth of specialized expertise within the Province of Quebec.”
