Montreal, July 20, 2007 - AlphaMosaïk, renowned leader in the field of IT services in the province of Quebec, is proud to announce the signing of a new contract with Videotron. “Implementing a new corporate intranet represents a strategic decision based on Videotron’s clear vision and objectives. We needed a dependable, state-of-the-art solution that would provide us with a structured organization of our electronic content (documents, files, databases, information). The main objective was to render all crucial elements available to our employees, either globally or to specific departments or user groups. This is why we selected the Microsoft SharePoint MOSS 2007 solution.” explains Christiane David, Senior Manager at Videotron. “In this fast-paced and energetic market, a corporate intranet is an essential work tool that meets our critical business requirements. It will enable us to: optimize the potential of our employees, communicate global information, provide a development and integration platform for our software applications, reinforce teamwork and collaboration, boost productivity and greatly speed up the search and retrieval of information. Accordingly, Videotron is extremely pleased to be working with partners such as AlphaMosaïk, Microsoft and Dell in the realization of this high-visibility project.” concludes Ms. David.
According to Alain Cloutier, President of AlphaMosaïk: “The SharePoint solution will bring about optimal collaboration within the workplace and genuine decompartmentalization of the information. It will allow the dissemination of knowledge to and from all individuals, as opposed to the traditional hierarchical transmission of information. Videotron employees will greatly benefit from this solution. They will be able to: administer corporate document libraries, manage client follow-ups, use electronic forms to address and manage internal requests, offer a portal of centralized applications, establish workflows for the validation of procedures and documents, offer online conferences through unified communication solutions, manage knowledge and display corporate dashboards.” explains Mr. Cloutier.
