The document merger module was developed in order to meet centralization, automation and process acceleration requirements when it comes to writing documents. Due to the fact that several people are involved in the creation of complex documents (Request for proposals, software requirement specifications, etc.), with authorization levels, this tool breaks down the document management process into smaller parts.
It allows each person involved to work on one of the smaller parts (content, sections, etc) and then assembles the document using a style (format) previously defined. Furthermore, since it uses the SharePoint platform, it benefits from all of its advantages (versioning, security…).
