The technological architecture is used to carry out the creation, evaluation and the integration of technological architectures within the corporate architecture of an organization. It ensures the coherence and well-balanced integration of the different projects within the technological architecture of an organization.
The interventions cover software and hardware aspects. On the hardware side, the analysis covers the servers, the workstations and/or any other specialized component required to meet the specified requirements. On the software side, it focuses on the operating systems and applications that meet the applicative requirements.
The functional analysis culminates into the finalization of a document that functionally defines the requirements (independently of any technical solution). This document allows the project management to express its requirements in a functional way and clarifies the limitations of the project. The functional analysis constitutes an essential link between the project and the project manager.
